Supporting Nurses in Providing Quality Care with the Nursing Care Needs Standard

15 May 2024
Nursing Programme
Nurses spend more than 25% of their time on administration and looking for documentation to inform care. To help free nurses from the administrative burden of repetitive data entry and giving them more time to do what they do best – care for people, there is a need for standardised documentation. Kingsley Ejeh, PRSB's Project Manager for the Nursing Care Needs Standard, will share how the standard will enable nurses to have the information that they need at their fingertips and support their work in providing safe care. We will also hear from Claire Sutton, Transformational Lead for the Independent Health and Social Care Sector at the RCN and our Non-executive Director, who will provide her perspective and insights on the need for digital nursing documentation.
