How to Advise Your Patients to Move More

This session will cover the importance of physical activity and movement, how to have person-centred conversations with your patients to empower them to move more. We will also share useful resources to support you and tips to keep you moving too.

Learning outcomes:

  • Increased understanding of the evidence-base of physical activity and sport for people with arthritis.
  • Increased understanding of the motivators for people with arthritis/MSK to move more.
  • Increased confidence in having meaningful person-centred conversations with a patient.
  • Increased awareness of practical skills, tips and useful resources for effective consultations and conversations.
